Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology.
• Must be able to pass color vision test and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
• Proficient with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cytogenetic procedures including tissue culture, harvesting, slide prep and karyotyping, and FISH processing.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation; ensure accuracy of test results.
• Report timely and accurate results to support patient care; maintain quality control and preventive maintenance.
