Job summary

Sonora Quest Laboratories is seeking a Genetics/Genomics Technologist to join the Cytogenetic Testing-Ref Lab in Phoenix, AZ. The role involves performing complex genetic/genomic testing that supports patient diagnosis and care, including FISH, PCR, cytogenetic analysis, NGS, and CMA.

Candidate should have a Bachelor's degree with CLIA high-complexity qualifications and at least one year of genetics/genomics lab experience; ASCP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree meeting CLIA qualifications for high-complexity testing.
• One year of experience in a genetics/genomics laboratory.
• ASCP certification in cytogenetics or molecular biology preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform genetic/genomic testing including FISH, PCR, cytogenetic analysis, NGS, PGx, CMA.
• Operate multiple software and instrumentation with accuracy and dexterity.
• Ensure compliance with CAP, CLIA, and other regulatory standards.
