• Bachelor’s degree in science required.
• One year full-time experience in a clinical Cytogenetics lab.
• ASCP Certification in Cytogenetics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform tissue culture, initiation, maintenance, harvest, slide preparation and staining as assigned.
• Prepare and analyze karyotypes using established cytogenetic protocols.
• Perform FISH or array procedures and maintain QC records.
• Process slides for fluorescence in situ hybridization and ensure quality control standards.
