Job summary

Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc (CVG) seeks a Cycle Counter to perform regular counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods in a manufacturing setting. You will compare counts to ERP/WMS records, investigate discrepancies, and support inventory control improvements.

The role requires a GED or higher, 1–2 years’ cycle counting experience, and familiarity with SAP/Oracle/NetSuite or similar systems. On-site work in a manufacturing environment with PPE as needed.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
1–2 years of inventory control or cycle counting experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) preferred.
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, ERP/WMS software).

Responsibilities

Conduct regular cycle counts according to the schedule and document all results accurately.
Compare physical inventory to system records (ERP or WMS) and reconcile discrepancies.
Investigate inventory variances and work with relevant departments to identify root causes.
Update inventory records in the system after counts are verified.
Assist with physical inventory counts during quarterly or annual audits.
Monitor and report on inventory levels, shortages, and excesses.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and material flow.
