Job summary

Nidec Drives is seeking a Manufacturing Cycle Counter to maintain precise inventory records in a manufacturing setting. You will perform daily cycle counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods, reconciling data in the ERP system and helping ensure production continuity.

Responsibilities include auditing production lines, researching discrepancies, documenting waste, and entering accurate counts with RF scanners while complying with OSHA guidelines and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of inventory control, cycle counting, or materials handling experience in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with ERP software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and basic Excel.
• Familiarity with BOM, production schedules, and basic assembly workflows.
• Strong math, data entry accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience operating materials handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily counts of raw materials, WIP, sub-assemblies, and finished goods.
• Audit production lines and reconcile WIP inventory at various stages.
• Investigate discrepancies by reviewing logs and history.
• Document material waste and reconcile damaged or scrapped items.
• Input counts into ERP and use handheld RF scanners.
• Maintain safety standards in active production zones.
