Job summary

CVG (Commercial Vehicle Group, Inc.) is seeking a Cycle Counter to perform daily, weekly, and monthly counts of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods to ensure inventory accuracy. The role collaborates with production, warehouse, and inventory teams to investigate discrepancies and support continuous improvement of inventory control processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of inventory control or cycle counting experience in manufacturing or warehousing.
• Experience with inventory management systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite is preferred.
• Basic computer skills including Excel, Word, and ERP/WMS software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular cycle counts and document results.
• Compare physical inventory to system records and reconcile discrepancies.
• Investigate variances and identify root causes with relevant departments.
• Update inventory records after counts are verified.
• Assist with quarterly or annual physical inventories.
• Maintain organized inventory areas and labeling for counting.
• Monitor inventory levels, shortages, and excesses.
• Follow safety and quality procedures in all duties.
• Communicate inventory issues with supervisors and other departments.
• Support continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and material flow.
