Job summary

IREN in Childress, TX is seeking an Inventory Coordinator to own cycle counting and inventory accuracy on-site. You will verify on-hand quantities, research variances, and maintain transactional discipline to support construction projects, with separation of duties from receiving and issuing teams.

Reporting to the Inventory Manager, you’ll manage count schedules, document findings, and provide reliable data for purchasing, staging, and installation decisions while staying compliant with site

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in inventory control, cycle counting, warehouse operations, or related materials management.
• Proficiency with ERP or warehouse management systems for inventory transactions and record keeping.
• Strong Excel skills (sorting, filtering, lookups, pivot tables) for variance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Execute cycle counting program across storage locations, laydown yards, and staging areas.
• Research variances to determine root causes and document adjustments for approval.
• Maintain item master data, locations, and bin assignments within ERP/inventory system.
• Support material identification, segregation of damaged/nonconforming material, and quarantine controls.
• Document and standardize inventory procedures; report on count completion and accuracy.
