Job summary

Meriplex is seeking a security operations professional to monitor and triage security events, respond to customer requests, and ensure compliance through thorough documentation. The role emphasizes incident handling, configuration assistance, and analytics across Windows, Mac, and Linux environments.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, familiarity with proxy filtering, and some scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or KQL).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is a plus but not required.
• Experience with incident triage and ticketing processes.
• Familiar with security tools and privacy principles.
• Ability to interpret data from security tools.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Experience with Windows, Mac, and Linux.
• Knowledge of proxy and web content filtering.
• Certifications such as Security+ or SSCP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Notify customer of incoming tickets and issues.
• Handle customer requests including security configurations and investigations.
• Maintain records of triage activities and generate shift reports.
• Provide troubleshooting of security applications and appliances.
• Apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements.
• Interpret information collected by security tools.
