Job summary

SNC is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager I in Sparks, NV to design, test, and implement secure operating systems, networks, and security monitoring tools. You will oversee IT security systems, perform risk assessments, incident response, and digital forensics, and prepare regulatory reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in a related area; if no degree, 11 years of related experience.
• Strong cybersecurity principles and network architectures.
• Experience with risk assessment, incident response, and digital forensics.
• Knowledge of UNIX/Linux/Windows operating systems and large-scale server systems.
• Experience with A&A requirements per NISPOM, RMF, JSIG & NIST RMF.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the Security Engineering team; set priorities and resources.
• Partner with Enterprise Security Architect to translate standards into actionable plans.
• Oversee design reviews and secure-by-design practices across environments.
• Direct risk and vulnerability assessment programs and track remediation.
• Liaise with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to embed security in IT projects.
