Job summary

SNC is seeking a Systems Security Manager II to oversee information security policies, lead a larger team, and coordinate security initiatives. Reporting to the Systems Security Director, you will help strengthen the organization’s security posture.

The role requires implementing NIST RMF/NIST controls, managing risk assessments, and collaborating with IT and operations. Hybrid office environment with potential travel and an emphasis on leadership and strategic security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Security, Network Engineering, IT or related field.
• 9+ years of experience in IT security.
• Leadership abilities including mentoring, career development and accountability.
• Experience with A&A/NISPOM, RMF, JSIG and NIST RMF.
• Knowledge of NIST/ISO 27001 security standards.
• CISSP, CISM or CEH certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of information security policies.
• Manage a larger, diverse systems security team.
• Oversee and coordinate complex security projects.
• Conduct advanced risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
• Monitor and respond to sophisticated security incidents.
• Mentor and develop junior security managers and staff.

• Research, evaluate, and implement cutting-edge security technologies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Report on security metrics and incidents to executive management.
