Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to help financial institutions, fintechs, and payments providers manage cybersecurity risk in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. The successful candidate will bring a strong foundation in financial-services cybersecurity or IT risk, with exposure to digital assets and related technologies.

This role requires guiding engagements from planning through reporting, mentoring junior staff, and communicating risk to executives.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of professional experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience in the financial-services industry such as banking, fintech, payments, or capital markets.
• Broad exposure to emerging financial technologies (digital assets, blockchain, stablecoins, tokenization).
• Ability to translate cybersecurity risks into practical recommendations for clients.
• Strong knowledge of governance and controls (IAM, data protection, cloud security, third-party risk, incident response, continuity).
• Experience managing engagements from planning through reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication and client-relations skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity, technology-risk, and operational-resilience engagements for banks and fintechs.
• Evaluate cybersecurity implications of evolving technologies and business models.
• Assess risks related to digital-asset custody, wallet infrastructure, and APIs.
• Advise on governance, third-party risk, incident response, and continuity across ecosystems.
• Mentor junior professionals and contribute to Crowe's cybersecurity capabilities.
• Manage engagements from planning through reporting, including scope and budgets.
