Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to help financial institutions manage cybersecurity risk in a rapidly evolving regulatory environment. The role emphasizes understanding emerging technologies and translating complex risks into practical guidance for clients.

You will lead engagements, mentor professionals, and collaborate with banks, fintechs, and service providers to strengthen resilience and safeguard critical data. This position requires strong communication and strategic thinking.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in cybersecurity/technology risk/IT audit or security consulting.
• Experience in financial-services industries (banking/fintech/payments).
• Broad exposure to emerging financial technologies and business models.
• Ability to explain cybersecurity, third‑party risk, data protection and compliance implications.
• Strong governance and controls knowledge: IAM, data protection, cloud security, incident response, business continuity.
• Experience managing engagements from planning through reporting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; professional certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity engagements for banks, fintechs and payments providers.
• Evaluate cybersecurity implications of emerging technologies and business models.
• Assess risks in digital-asset custody, wallet infrastructure, APIs, cloud and more.
• Translate complex risks into practical client recommendations.
• Assess governance, third‑party risk, incident response and resilience across ecosystems.
• Advise on relationships among banks, fintechs, custodians and third parties.
• Assess programs against FFIEC, GLBA, NYDFS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, PCI DSS.
• Communicate risks clearly to executives and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior professionals and grow Crowe's cybersecurity capabilities.
