Job summary

Crowe is seeking a Cybersecurity Manager to help financial institutions, fintechs, and payments providers manage cybersecurity risk in a rapidly evolving environment. You will lead engagements, assess digital-asset and blockchain-related risks, and align controls with FFIEC, GLBA, and NIST CSF frameworks.

The role requires 5+ years in cybersecurity/technology risk, strong governance and client-relations skills, and a bachelor’s degree plus professional certifications (CISSP/CISM/CRISC).

Qualifications

• Five+ years of experience in cybersecurity, technology risk, IT audit, or security consulting.
• Experience in financial-services industry or with banks, fintechs, payments, or related sectors.
• Exposure to emerging financial technologies and business models (digital assets, blockchain, stablecoins, Banking-as-a-Service).
• Ability to translate cybersecurity risks into practical client guidance and ensure high‑quality delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead cybersecurity, technology-risk, and operational-resilience engagements for financial institutions and fintechs.
• Evaluate evolving technologies and their cybersecurity implications for clients.
• Assess risks related to digital assets, wallets, APIs, cloud, and third-party risk.
• Advise on governance, incident response, business continuity, and regulatory mappings (FFIEC, GLBA, NY DFS, NIST CSF).
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to growth of Crowe's cybersecurity capabilities.
• Manage engagements from planning through reporting, including scope, timelines, and budgets.
