Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. seeks a Senior Technical Enablement Architect for its Enterprise Security Group. Lead technical content, train pre-sales teams, and craft demos to accelerate revenue across Zero Trust, SASE/SSE, and AI security initiatives.

Collaborate with Product Management and Marketing, serve as the go-to technical POC for Sales Engineers, and translate complex tech into business value for executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years in presales, sales engineering, or related roles.
• Deep understanding of Zero Trust, microsegmentation, and SASE/SSE.
• Experience with AI security, AI workloads, and governance.
• Strong knowledge of datacenter security and networking (TLS, VPNs, TCP/IP).

Responsibilities

• Provide continuous updates to the technical pre-sales community on roadmap and product lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Product Management/Marketing to deliver sales training and technical content.
• Serve as the primary technical POC for Sales Engineers for complex inquiries and RFIs/RFPs.
• Analyze feature requests and communicate field feedback to Product Management.
• Guide field teams in designing solutions for complex POCs and strategic deals.
• Develop and maintain product demos with TME/SE teams to showcase the portfolio.
