Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and maintain a robust security architecture across our enterprise. You will lead governance, risk assessments, and incident response, ensuring protection of information systems and data.

You will collaborate with legal, compliance, and IT teams to implement controls, drive security strategy, and mentor engineers in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, IT, CS or related field.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles.
• 10+ years in cybersecurity with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy aligned with OD’s goals.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, identity, and data protection.
• Oversee security controls and governance across on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage risk assessments and ensure regulatory compliance (NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS, HIPAA).
• Lead incident response and vulnerability management with cross-team collaboration.
