Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design and implement a comprehensive security architecture for enterprise IT, spanning on‑prem and cloud environments. You will guide strategy, governance, and risk management to protect critical assets.

You will lead incident response, vulnerability management, and third‑party risk programs while mentoring security engineers and collaborating with legal/compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity/IT/CS or related field.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience; 5+ years in leadership or architecture roles.
• Strong knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS; regulatory compliance in logistics.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy.
• Design secure IT environments including network, cloud, and data security.
• Architect and implement security controls for on‑prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Oversee vulnerability management and incident response plans.
