Old Dominion Freight Line seeks a Cybersecurity Architect to drive the design, implementation, and ongoing governance of our security architecture. You will guide risk-based decisions, align security with business goals, and oversee both on‑premises and cloud security controls to protect critical data and operations.

You will collaborate with senior leadership, manage incident response, and champion best practices across IT, compliance, and development teams in a large logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of cybersecurity experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role or as a cybersecurity architect.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, CIS) and security in large enterprises.

Responsabilités

• Lead development of a comprehensive cybersecurity architecture strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Design secure IT environments including network security, cloud and data protection with regulatory compliance.
• Oversee security controls for on‑premises and cloud infrastructure with defense‑in‑depth principles.
• Conduct risk assessments to ensure security standards and policy adherence.
• Develop and maintain a cybersecurity governance framework and standards.
• Collaborate with leadership to define strategy, risk appetite, and incident response.
