Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking an experienced engineer to provide Tier I/II support for the integrated watchfloor in a 24x7 operational environment. You will serve as the SPOC between the service provider and users, logging incidents, diagnosing issues, and escalating where necessary.

The role requires a strong foundation in Linux, DevSecOps, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployments, with a current US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science is required.
• Two years of experience with software and system deployments, Linux administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps.
• Four years of relevant experience can substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of experience can be substituted with an MS in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Current US Security Clearance with Polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Security & Certifications: IAT II CWIP / DoD 8570 compliance (Security+), CCNA.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I/II support for the integrated watchfloor in a 24×7×365 environment.
• Act as SPOC between the service provider and operational users, log and prioritize incidents, diagnose using knowledge bases, and escalate as needed.
• Maintain incident status communication and document troubleshooting steps to expand the knowledge base.
