Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems is seeking a seasoned professional to provide Tier I/II support for the integrated watchfloor in a 24×7×365 environment. You will act as the SPOC between the service provider and operational users, logging and prioritizing incidents, performing initial diagnoses, and escalating when needed.

You will maintain 24×7×365 coverage via rotating 12‑hour shifts and contribute to knowledge base expansion through documented troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science required.
• 8 years of experience in software and system deployments, Linux system administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps.
• 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
• Two years of experience can be substituted with an MS in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Recent experience within the last three years in Kubernetes.
• Security clearance with polygraph within the last 7 years; CWIP / DoD8570 (Security+).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I/II support for the integrated watchfloor in a 24×7×365 environment.
• Act as Single Point of Contact between service provider and users; log, categorize, and prioritize incidents.
• Perform initial diagnosis using knowledge bases; attempt first-contact resolution; escalate as needed.
• Maintain incident status communications and document troubleshooting steps for knowledge base.
• Ensure 24×7×365 coverage with rotating 12-hour shifts and 2-week rotations.
