Job summary

Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems seeks a skilled IT professional to support the watchfloor operations in a 24x7 environment. You will act as the SPOC, diagnose issues, perform first-contact resolutions, and escalate complex incidents while maintaining thorough documentation and knowledge base entries.

The role requires Linux administration, Docker/Kubernetes experience, and an active US security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Two (2) years of experience with software and system deployments, Linux system administration, containerization, cloud deployments, and DevSecOps.
• Current US Security Clearance with Polygraph within the last 7 years.
• Security & Certifications: DoD8570/ CWIP (Security+).

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I/II support for the integrated watchfloor in a 24×7 environment.
• Serve as SPOC between the service provider and operational users; log, categorize and prioritize incidents.
• Perform initial diagnosis using knowledge bases and incident models; attempt first-contact resolution.
• Escalate unresolved incidents to Tier II and communicate status throughout resolution.
• Document troubleshooting steps and populate knowledge base; maintain 24/7 coverage via rotating shifts.
