Serco Inc. seeks a Cyber Systems Engineer for the CAF DMO 3.0 program in Hampton, VA.

You will join a focused team to perform test, integration, and evaluation of M&S systems to support 5th and 6th generation training interoperability. This role requires an active DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI and SAP/SAR, a STEM degree with 5+ years of related experience (or an Associate’s with 7 years), and up to 10% travel.

Formación

• Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI/SAP/SAR.
• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field (e.g., Data Analysis, System Engineering, Math, Computer Science, Physics) with 5 years of related engineering experience in test, integration, software development, or embedded systems.
• Or an Associate’s degree with 7 years of related engineering experience.
• Experience supporting DoD customers and personnel in a technical capacity.
• Familiarity with development, test and evaluation of military training or operational systems.
• Must possess, or obtain within six months, a DoD 8140 IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+, CySA+, CISSP).
• Ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsabilidades

• Support simulation system and application integration, evaluation, and interoperability test to support DMON and JSE training operations.
• Use industry-standard tools for simulation test and evaluation (Wireshark, protocol analysis, CGFs).
• Assist in detailed analysis of network and compute performance (latency, bandwidth, jitter, occupancy).
• Help develop and maintain test plans and procedures to document/test activities.
• Draft comprehensive test reports from integration, test, evaluation, and verification tasks.
• Assist in developing CONOPS and COAs for deployment of evaluated simulation capabilities.
• Contribute to engineering life cycle activities (requirements review, training operations support, basic system administration).
• Produce well-defined, concise test procedures and test cases under senior engineering guidance.
• Support program processes using Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo, X-Ray).
• Participate in peer reviews, test bed maintenance/updates, and programming, testing, debugging.
