Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Manager to lead cybersecurity engineering, RMF/ATO, and security operations for the Coast Guard's C5ISC in Alexandria, VA.

You will manage a multidisciplinary team of ISSOs, ISSEs, and incident response engineers, coordinating with cloud and government stakeholders to strengthen security posture, drive continuous authorization, and deliver secure, compliant services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a cyber-related field.
• 8+ years in cybersecurity engineering/IT/security operations with federal program exposure.
• 4+ years of direct people management over multidisciplinary teams and multiple workstreams.
• Deep knowledge of RMF, NIST SP 800-53, FISMA, ATO packages and continuous monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary cybersecurity team of ISSOs, ISSEs, security engineers, and incident responders.
• Oversee RMF/ATO activities across cloud and enterprise boundaries with evidence quality and continuous authorization.
• Direct engineering across AWS/Azure, focusing on secure architectures, IAM, encryption, and zero trust.
• Own vulnerability management, POA&M tracking, and remediation with clear ownership and deadlines.
• Oversee continuous security monitoring, incident response coordination, and status reporting to Coast Guard stakeholders.
• Develop integrated work plans, backlogs, and measurable criteria for all security deliverables.
• Conduct technical and quality reviews of security artifacts, control narratives, and contingency documentation.
• Coordinate with government ISSOs, assessors, authorizing officials, vendors, and cross-functional teams to resolve findings.
