Job summary

Leidos Inc. in Alexandria, VA seeks a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead cloud initiatives for the United States Coast Guard. You will architect scalable cloud-native solutions, drive DevOps adoption, and mentor teams across AWS, Azure, and UiPath.

This role requires hands-on design and implementation, security best practices, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to support mission-critical operations. Excellent communication and cloud certifications are desirable.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in an IT discipline or equivalent
• Experience in customer-facing roles and delivering high-quality support
• 12+ years of administration experience with cloud-based apps (MS O365, SharePoint, Azure AD, AWS)
• UiPath experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML, and related security procedures
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience onboarding customer log-data from AWS/Azure to analytics environments
• Ability to obtain an Entry of Duty (EOD) Public Trust

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
• Create reference architectures, patterns, and standards for cloud implementations
• Mentor and guide development teams on cloud-native design and deployment
• Lead large-scale cloud migrations from planning through execution
• Implement IAM, security monitoring, and zero-trust architectures and ensure compliance with SOC 2/HIPAA/PCI-DSS
