Job summary

BDO USA in the United States is seeking a Cyber Security and Compliance Intern to learn the basics of information and data risks while assisting with client projects and internal initiatives. Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, required
• Currently pursuing a degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Assurance, Business Management, Accounting or Finance, preferred
• Prior internship, externship, or professional experience in data management, technology, compliance, or business management is preferred

Responsibilities

• Assists with security assessments, readiness reports, and related tasks including PCI, NIST, CIS, HIPAA
• Documents client meetings to socialize outcomes with the team
• Manages tasks for cyber security and compliance projects
• Assists with developing client reports, findings, and recommendations
• Develops data flow diagrams and maintains updates over time
• Conducts research to provide up-to-date options or solutions
• Budgets time and supports multiple project requests concurrently and monitors risks
• Travels as required
• Other duties as required
