Job summary

The internship involves documenting meetings, developing reports, and contributing to data flow diagrams, with potential travel and exposure to HIPAA, PCI, NIST, and CIS standards.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program, required
• Currently pursuing a degree in Technology, Computer Science, Information Assurance, Business Management, Accounting or Finance, preferred
• Prior internship, externship, or professional experience in data management, technology, compliance, or business management is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist with security assessments, readiness reports, and related tasks following PCI, NIST, CIS, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Document client meetings and socialize outcomes with the team.
• Manage project tasks for cybersecurity and compliance projects.
• Develop client reports with findings and recommendations.
• Create and maintain data flow diagrams and update them over time.
• Conduct research to identify market options or solutions.
• Budget time and support multiple project requests while monitoring tasks and risks.
• Travel as required.
• Other duties as required
