Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Cyber Security and Compliance Intern who will learn about information and data risks, assist with client projects and internal initiatives, and work alongside experienced professionals on compliance projects, cyber maturity assessments, and other cyber related tasks.

The intern will help operationalize client processes, policies, and controls, document meetings, support data flow diagrams, and assist with developing client reports, including findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, required.
• Field preferences include technology or information assurance; preferred disciplines listed in the job.
• Experience with data management, compliance, or cyber projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with security assessments and readiness reports.
• Document client meetings and socialize findings with the team.
• Support development of client reports with findings and recommendations.
• Assist with data flow diagrams and maintain updates.
• Conduct research to identify market options and solutions.
