Job summary

Airgas in Tulsa, OK is seeking a CX Specialist- Special Handling to manage a portfolio of specialized billing accounts and coordinate pricing, cylinder balances, and related discrepancies.

You will collaborate with branches, account managers, and technical support to deliver tailored solutions, while maintaining strong customer relationships and driving timely fulfillment. This role emphasizes organization and proactive problem-solving.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of billing/accounts receivable experience.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Experience with Excel, Sheets, and Airtable or other spreadsheet software.
• Comfort balancing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary contact for customers needing specialized billing support and foster customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand needs and develop tailored solutions for special handling requests.
• Coordinate with branches, account managers, technical support, CX and leadership to address billing issues and ensure timely fulfilment.
• Identify and address potential delays in the special handling process and escalate as needed.
• Document all customer interactions, expectations, and resolutions accurately.
• Participate in continuous improvement of special handling processes and CX initiatives.
• Stay informed about billing expectations and company policies for the portfolio.
• Build alignment on account discrepancies by submitting necessary documentation.
