Banner Health seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist for PRN/per diem opportunities in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports high‑pressure cardiothoracic and vascular cases, scrubbing with two specialties, and assisting physicians and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with Surgical Technologist certification.
• 1–2 years of surgical technologist experience OR 3–4 years in the role.
• Must be able to scrub proficiently on two surgical specialties.

Responsibilities

• Select and place instruments, supplies and equipment during surgery.
• Scrub and provide instruments, sutures, and sterile supplies.
• Assist in training staff and students as assigned.
• Scrub on a minimum of two surgical specialties.
• Support physician and care teams in high-pressure OR environments.
• Follow safety procedures for labeling, handling of specimens, sharps, and radiation safety.
