Job summary

Banner Estrella Medical Center in Phoenix seeks a Surgical Technologist for the CVOR who will scrub on multiple specialties and assist surgeons with high-acuity cardiovascular procedures. The role emphasizes teamwork, patient safety, and adherence to sterile technique in a fast-paced operating room.

You must hold CST certification (or equivalent) and have one to four years of surgical technologist experience; on-site schedule is day shift with a generous sign-on bonus and weekend/night

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; CST certification required.
• Experience as a surgical technologist in a scrub role.
• Registered where applicable; able to scrub on two specialties.

Responsibilities

• Scrubs and provides instruments, sutures and sterile supplies during surgery.
• Anticipates surgeon needs and passes instruments during procedures.
• Maintains aseptic technique and disposes of sharps and waste properly.
• Prepares case carts, checks instruments, and assists with OR turnover.
