Job summary

Banner Health in Sun City, AZ seeks a CVOR RN to join a high-functioning cardiac operating room team. You will assist physicians during surgeries including CPB/heart-lung machine use and TEE studies, while providing top-tier perioperative nursing care.

The role requires at least one year of OR RN experience and a current BLS; a Bachelor's degree is preferred. Sign-on incentive available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year RN experience in the operating room.
• BLS certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge needs.
• Formulate and implement a plan of care with discharge planning and patient-family input.
• Incorporate physician orders and nursing plan of care in daily care activities.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans with the team.
• Document nursing assessments and interventions accurately in the chart.
• Mentor and precept staff to support clinical practice and patient safety.
