Job summary

Banner Health is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist to join the Surg-Hosp team in Phoenix, AZ. The role supports scrub duties, supplies handling, and intraoperative instrument management during complex cardiovascular procedures.

The position requires scrubbing in at least two surgical specialties, with a focus on high-performance teamwork in a fast-paced environment. A $10k sign-on is available for experienced external candidates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and BLS certification.
• Surgical technologist certification; 1–2 years of experience or 3–4 years in role.
• State regulatory registration where applicable.
• Proficient in scrubbing at least two surgical specialties.
• Ability to stay composed and organized under stressful conditions.

Responsibilities

• Scrub and assist with instrument setup during procedures.
• Pass instruments, retract tissue, and maintain aseptic technique.
• Assist with OR turnover and stocking of supplies.
• Participate in training and orientation of staff and students.
