Qualifications

• Diploma in nursing and Alabama RN licensure required.
• BLS Provider required within 30 days of hire; ACLS within 180 days.
• Licensure as a Registered Nurse prior to hire date.

Responsibilities

• Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting for surgical patients.
• Perform scrub functions: instrument and supply handling for procedures.
• Perform circulating functions: monitor patient condition and coordinate care.
• Assist surgeon with tasks including hemostasis, suturing, and positioning.
• Prepare operating rooms and instruments for use.
