UAB Medicine in Alabama seeks a skilled perioperative nurse to deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures. The role includes scrub and circulating functions, assisting surgeons, and preparation of rooms and instruments.

This on-site position at UAB St. Vincent's East requires BLS/ACLS, a nursing diploma, and Alabama RN licensure. Schedule is 6am-3pm, Monday–Friday, with rotating call and comprehensive benefits.

Formación

• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or college.
• Alabama RN licensure required prior to hire.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within specified timeframes.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing procedures.
• Perform scrub functions including instrument and supply handling during procedures.
• Perform circulating functions including monitoring patient condition and communicating status.
• Directly assist the operating physician with surgical tasks and patient positioning.
