Job summary

Mercy is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide patient care within our Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. You will coordinate with the surgical team and collaborating departments, ensuring patient rights and confidentiality are maintained.

Roles align with Mercy Service Standards and mission. Minimum requirements include an RN license in the hiring state or compact, 6 months OR experience, and BLS certification or completion within 30 days.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Licensure: Must have RN license in hiring state/compact licensure and meet state board requirements.
• Experience: Six months OR experience; proficient in Level I requirements as defined by policy.
• Certifications: BLS or completion within 30 days of hire; ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM or other unit-specific certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with surgical team in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in a manner consistent with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
