Job summary

Mercy seeks an RN to provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. You will coordinate with the surgical team and other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality, and aligning with Mercy's mission and Service Standards.

Minimum requirements include an RN license in the hiring state or compact, graduation from an approved nursing program, and at least six months of OR experience with Level I proficiency.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Active RN license in hiring state and/or compact licensure.
• Six months OR hospital experience; proficient in Level I requirements.
• Basic Life Support certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with the surgical team in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards.
