Job summary

Mercy is hiring a registered nurse to provide patient care using the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process. You will coordinate with the surgical team and ensure patient rights and confidentiality are upheld, working within Mercy Service Standards and mission-driven values.

Minimum requirements include an RN license in the hiring state or a compact license, education from an accredited nursing program (ADN/ Diploma/ BSN), and at least six months of OR experience.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Education: ADN, Diploma, or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
• Six months of OR nursing experience; proficient in Level I nursing operations.
• BLS certification or completion within 30 days of hire.
• One or more unit-specific certifications may be required.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for patient care for assigned patients.
• Coordinates patient care with the surgical team in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values and Service Standards.

Skills

RN experience 6 months

Education

RN degree (AD/ Diploma/ BSN)

RN licensure (state or compact)

BLS certification or within 30 days

ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/BLS/PALS/PEARS/C-EFM/Other certs
