Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from nursing school with an AD, Diploma, or BSN.
• Active RN license in hiring state or compact licensure.
• Six months OR experience; proficient in Level I requirements.
• BLS certification or within 30 days of hire.
• Certifications such as ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, STABLE, C-EFM or unit-specific as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care with surgical team and other departments.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Perform duties in line with Mercy mission, values and Service Standards.
