Job summary

Mercy is seeking an RN to provide patient care within the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and collaborative surgical team support. The role emphasizes professional accountability, patient rights, confidentiality, and alignment with Mercy Service Standards.

The position requires graduation from an approved nursing program and an active RN license in the hiring state or a compact license; six months OR experience is preferred, with BLS and potential unit-specific certifications required.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN license in the hiring state or compact licensure.
• Six months OR experience; Level I requirements.
• BLS certification; other certifications may be required.
• Unit-specific certifications may apply (ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, etc.).
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs; standing and walking for shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and coordinate with the surgical team and other departments.
• Uphold patient rights and confidentiality; follow Mercy Service Standards.
