Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular OR RN to join our surgical services team at St. Mary’s Regional Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado. You’ll collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safe, high-quality care for cardiovascular procedures.

The role requires a BSN, Colorado RN (or compact) license and BLS, with at least 1 year in cardiothoracic nursing. The department offers 40-hour weeks, 10-hour shifts, and a supportive, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with the ability to obtain Colorado RN license, required.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate).
• At least 1 year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical setting, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind.
• Assess a patients’ medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
