Job summary

IntermountainHealth’s St. Mary’s Regional Hospital seeks a skilled Cardiovascular OR Registered Nurse to join our surgical services team in Grand Junction, CO. You’ll collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and nurses to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, individualized care planning, and strict compliance with clinical guidelines. Requires CS, BLS/ACLS and 1+ year CVOR experience; schedule includes days with call.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact with ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association (ACLS/NRP/PALS as appropriate).
• At least one year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience in a comparable setting, highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide cardiovascular OR nursing care, coordinating with surgeons and anesthesiologists.
• Assess patient status on admission and develop individualized plans.
• Ensure adherence to evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines.
• Assist in maintaining safe, high-quality perioperative care and teamwork.
