Job summary

St. Mary’s Regional Hospital, part of IntermountainHealth, seeks a Cardiovascular OR RN to join its surgical services team in Grand Junction, CO. The CVOR nurse delivers high-quality care in procedures, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists and other nurses.

Department: Operating Room; Shift: 10 hours/day, Mon-Fri with call; 40 hours weekly. Competitive benefits and a strong wellness program are included.

Qualifications

• BSN from an accredited program.
• Current Colorado RN license or compact license with ability to obtain Colorado RN license.
• Current BLS certification endorsed by the American Heart Association or ability to obtain within sixty (60) days of hire.
• At least one (1) year of Cardiothoracic nursing experience in a comparable acute care/surgical services setting, highly preferred

Responsibilities

• Recognize and address patients’ psychological and physical needs.
• Foster continuity and quality of care with the best interest and well-being of patients and their families in mind.
• Assess a patients’ medical status upon admission.
• Assist in developing individualized treatment plans.
• Comply with evaluation, treatment and documentation guidelines
