Job summary

Mercy is seeking a dedicated RN to provide patient care within our nursing framework. You will coordinate with the surgical team and collaborate with other departments while upholding patient rights and confidentiality.

Your work will align with Mercy's mission, values, and Service Standards. You will demonstrate proficiency with Level I nursing requirements, maintain licensure, and pursue necessary certifications rapidly after hire.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing (AD, Diploma, or BSN) is required.
• RN license in the hiring state and/or compact licensure is required.
• Six months OR experience is preferred and must meet Level I requirements as defined by policy.
• Basic Life Support certification or course completion within 30 days of hire is required.
• Certifications may include ACLS/ALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, BLS, PALS, PEARS, C-EFM, or other unit-specific certifications.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Mercy Nursing Conceptual Framework and nursing process to provide patient care.
• Coordinates patient care with the surgical team in collaboration with other departments.
• Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information.
• Performs duties in alignment with Mercy mission, values, and Service Standards.
