Job summary

FedEx Logistics in the United States is seeking a detail-oriented Customs Entry Processor to collect and enter data for import filings, ensure accurate tariff classifications, and prepare entry documents. You will work with a team, use MS Office, and maintain data accuracy under supervision; strong data entry, organizational and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 6 months of brokerage or transportation experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
• MS Office, Outlook, and standard office equipment proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Collect and enter into the import system all data required for customs entry, entry summary and related documents.
• Determine tariff classification and value; ensure compliance with government agency requirements.
• Input data into transmission systems, monitor abi transmissions, and correct errors as needed.
• Maintain master files and data dictionaries; work with team to provide high quality service.
• Coordinate additional billings and corrections for data accuracy and timely processing.
