Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience using computer systems with data entry and basic software navigation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate documentation required by US Customs for entry of goods on behalf of importers.
• Obtain correct classification of goods for customs release from databases, SOPs, tariff books, or customs.
• Data entry and processing of various import-related documentation for submission to US Customs; may handle PGA submissions.
• Maintain and keep current all shipment documentation in compliance with record keeping requirements.
• Adhere to all international importing regulations.
• Work closely with internal staff and departments to deliver high level of service to customers.
• Process agency brokerage shipments.
• Ensure all government and organizational policies are followed.
