Job summary

AIT Worldwide Logistics in Palatine, IL is seeking a Customs Entry Specialist II to support import operations by preparing and submitting import documentation in line with CBP requirements. You will verify shipment data, classify goods, coordinate with clients, carriers and authorities, and help resolve discrepancies to meet clearance deadlines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of Entry Writing experience; 2+ years of CHB/Imports experience preferred.
• Accurate data entry with strong problem-solving and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform administrative tasks in import operations for clients and vendors, maintaining revenue from client base.
• File breakdown, data entry classification, photocopying, scanning, and entry assembly; handle import air recoveries and delivery orders.
