Job summary

Supply Chain Solutions, LLC is seeking a Customs Brokerage Supervisor to run our brokerage operation, directly supervising the team and ensuring timely, accurate entries and excellent client service. The role combines leadership with hands-on entry review and performance accountability, including process improvements and coaching.

You will manage relationships with key accounts, conduct service reviews, and drive results through a capable team in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of U.S. customs brokerage experience.
• 2+ years leading others (formal or informal).
• Licensed Customs Broker strongly preferred; CCS or equivalent preferred.
• Owns the team's results and fixes the process behind them.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Lead and entry writers, including schedules, time off, and coverage.
• Own the team's timeliness, accuracy, reject, and Post Summary Correction results, and act when they slip.
• Serve as relationship owner for key accounts and hold periodic service reviews.

Description

The Customs Brokerage Supervisor runs SCS's customs brokerage operation day to day and is accountable for its results: accurate, timely entries, well-served clients, and a capable team. This is a working supervisor role. The Supervisor leads the team and also clears entries. The Supervisor has authority over people, while the Lead directs the daily flow of work.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise the Lead and entry writers, including schedules, time off, and coverage.
• Own the team's timeliness, accuracy, reject, and Post Summary Correction results, and act when they slip.
• Serve as relationship owner for key accounts and hold periodic service reviews.

Requirements

• 6 or more years of U.S. customs brokerage experience, including at least 2 years leading others formally or informally.
• Licensed Customs Broker strongly preferred. CCS or equivalent preferred.
• Owns the team's results, including mistakes, and fixes the process behind them.
