People Freight | Freight Forwarding & Logistics Recruitment Specialists in Atlanta, GA seeks a Customs Brokerage Supervisor to lead the brokerage team and ensure regulatory compliance. You will oversee daily customs activities, resolve issues, and drive service levels for international clients.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of U.S. Customs Brokerage experience, hands-on leadership, and strong knowledge of CBP regulations, HTS and PGA requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of U.S. Customs Brokerage experience.
• Experience supervising or leading a brokerage team.
• Strong knowledge of CBP regulations and import compliance.
• Experience with ACE and customs brokerage systems.
• CargoWise experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of HTS, ISF and PGA requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisation and leadership skills.
• CCS, LCB or similar qualification is a plus.

Customs Brokerage Supervisor | Atlanta, GA | Up to $85,000 salary

This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for managing day-to-day customs activities, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting the brokerage team, and maintaining high levels of service for international clients. The ideal candidate will have strong U.S. customs knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and previous experience supervising or leading a customs brokerage team.

The Role:

• Supervise and support the daily activities of the Customs Brokerage team


• Oversee customs entry preparation, review and submission


• Ensure compliance with CBP, HTS, ISF, PGA and import regulations


• Review entries and resolve customs discrepancies and clearance issues


• Monitor customs holds, exams and releases


• Work closely with CBP, customers, carriers and overseas offices


• Coach, train and develop brokerage staff


• Monitor team performance, workloads and KPIs


• Handle complex customs entries and classification issues
