Expeditors in Torrance, CA is seeking a Customer Service Representative for Customs Brokerage with 3-5 years brokerage experience. You will ensure timely, accurate operations and excellent customer service within the Brokerage Department.

The role requires knowledge of US customs processes, ability to transfer data, and build customer relationships. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work overtime; a Chinese language skill is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years Brokerage experience required
• Understanding of transportation and US Customs documentation
• High School Degree or equivalent
• Fluent in English
• Ability to work overtime
• Must be able to commute to Torrance, CA
• Chinese language is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate operations within the Brokerage Department
• Daily execution of workflow and department metrics
• Transfer declaration information from documents into the customs entry system
• Accurate data entry for US Customs declarations
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and government agencies
• Track and trace shipments for data transmission to US customs
