TOP Group - Japanese Recruiting Agency has a client in the Illinois area seeking a licensed customs broker for full-time direct hire. The role includes classification, entry submissions, and regulatory compliance, with responsibilities spanning coordination across customs, PGA offices, and clients.

The successful candidate will handle HTS classification, maintain import documentation, and support audits and training of junior staff. Office hours are standard business hours in Chicago.

Competenze

• 3-5 years of experience as a licensed customs broker.
• Knowledgeable in US import regulations, HTS classification and PGA requirements.
• Excel experience.

Our client an international freight forwarding and logistics company, is seeking a licensed customs broker to join their Illinois team.

Title: Licensed Custom Broker

Type: Full Time Direct Hire

Hours: 9 - 6 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Classify goods using HTS codes
• Prepare and submit customs entries via ACE/ABI
• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and company policies
• Communicate with Customs, PGAs, and clients on shipments
