Job summary

Micro Center is seeking a self-motivated Service Experience Advisor to be the first point of contact for technical service at our Knowledge Bar. You will blend basic technical understanding with strong interpersonal skills to guide customers through service intake and recommend solutions, while explaining pricing and timelines at check-in.

This entry-level role emphasizes customer service and sales, with performance-based pay and commission opportunities, in a fast-paced retail tech environment.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain services or solutions clearly and professionally.
• Comfort with sales concepts and upsell in a retail tech environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the trusted point of contact for walk-in or scheduled customers at the Knowledge Bar.
• Listen actively to customer concerns and guide them through service solutions and offerings.
• Recommend value-added services such as PriorityCare+, Data Backup, ESET, and other products and services in a consultative manner.
• Clearly communicate estimated pricing, timelines, and expectations at check-in.
• Assist in basic troubleshooting and route work orders to service queues.
